While most pens use a plastic tube for ink, our design utilizes a durable steel ink barrel, drastically reducing the environmental impact. The exterior is constructed from layers of compressed recycled paper, creating a rigid, durable body that feels natural in the hand and provides a smooth, skip-free 0.7mm writing line.

User Guide
How to Use: Simply remove the cap and write. The lightweight, textured paper body is designed to reduce hand strain, making it ideal for long meetings, lectures, or journaling.
Maintenance: Keep the cap on when not in use to protect the precision nib. As the barrel is made of natural recycled paper, keep the pens in a dry place and avoid immersion in water until you are ready to dispose of them.
Disposal: When the ink is finished, soak the pen in a small amount of water for a few minutes; this allows the paper barrel to easily unravel. Once unraveled, remove the stainless steel ink reservoir to be recycled with scrap metal. The damp paper can then be added to your home compost or paper recycling bin.
Why Paper & Steel?
By replacing the traditional plastic ink tube with stainless steel, we’ve removed the most common source of microplastics in stationery. Steel is infinitely recyclable and provides a sturdier, leak-proof housing for the ink.
When paired with a barrel made from post-consumer recycled paper, this pen becomes a circular product that diverts waste from landfills and avoids the carbon-heavy production of virgin plastics.

How long will the pens last?
Each pen is designed to write for approximately 2 kilometers of continuous line, which typically lasts for about 300 pages of writing. The steel barrel also prevents the ink from drying out prematurely.
What type of ink is used?
We use a professional-grade, non-toxic black ballpoint ink. It is oil-based to ensure a smooth, skip-free experience that is resistant to smudging and fading.
How much paper is wrapped around pen?
Each barrel is made from approximately 25–30 cm of recycled paper, tightly rolled to create a durable 8–10 mm grip. This provides a solid feel that is completely biodegradable.
