Our Bamboo
We use only FSC-certified bamboo, sourced through our manufacture partners. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification ensures responsible harvesting, supporting sustainable forest management and protecting ecosystems.
Bamboo is highly sustainable, growing in 3-5 years without pesticides or much water. It sequesters carbon, prevents soil erosion, and is biodegradable, making the material a green alternative to plastic.
FAQ
How to wash pouch?
To wash the cotton pouch, machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water (30°C or 86°F) and mild detergent, then air dry to maintain its shape and durability.
How to wash the straw ?
Rinse the straw with warm water (up to 40°C or 104°F) and mild dish soap, then insert the straw cleaner to gently scrub the interior, ensuring all debris is removed; air dry completely before storing.
How to maintain?
Optionally, apply a thin layer of food-safe mineral oil or bamboo conditioner every few months to keep the bamboo hydrated and prevent cracking; avoid soaking or exposing to extreme heat.
Can i use in the oven or microwave?
No, the bamboo cutlery set is not oven or microwave safe; exposure to high heat can cause warping, cracking, or damage to the bamboo, so it’s best used for serving and eating at room temperature or with dishwasher-safe cleaning.

Getting away from plastic, ordered these for a trip later this month so not been used yet (hence 4 stars), but these are sturdy, good quality and seem up to the task. Like the individual bag so we all get our own. Looking forward to trying them out
The product arrived very quickly and I really feels like a quality product. However, the spoon in the set was broken on arrival. I have emailed New Living twice in order to arrange a replacement, exchange or refund but as of yet have heard nothing back. I also couldn’t find a phone number to contact them on.
